About the 2024 Eltham Town: Celebrating Eltham Art and Culture

The Eltham Town: Celebrating Eltham Art and Culture aims to create a connection between art, creatives, performers to the Eltham Town and the greater community. Through a series of events Eltham Town will host a diverse range of art, creative, photography, performance, musician, writer and more interactive sessions for the public to enjoy.

Many sessions only have limited numbers so get in quick before they book out.

Batthew Aromascent and the Missing Corpse Flower is the first dazzling book in an exciting new adventure mystery series about the rich world of fragrance, starring a young Nose named Batthew Aromascent, whose parents disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

At the Eltham Arts and Culture Fest Ella and John are looking forward to meeting Chatterbookers, sharing far-out-there-is no-way-that-can-be-true smell facts and playing a mystery game, if Chatterbookers are feeling courageous enough.

The Batthew series is co-written by Ella Mulvey and John Roebuck. Ella first came up with the idea for the Batthew books while working as an Educator at the Botanic Gardens in Melbourne.

Ella Mulvey is the author of a picture book The Rabbit-Hole Golf Course, which was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia’s book of the year awards. John worked as a film critic for over ten years and is the founder and former Creative Director of the ReelGood Film Festival. He is also a high school teacher.
