Eltham Music Busker Program 2023 – Expression of Interest

Music Busking In Eltham

Eltham Town is offering busking opportunities for musicians, singers, and dance groups in 2023.

Current Opportunity

During 2023, Eltham Town would like to activate the open space in various locations. Ideally, you would have your own equipment, and some locations do have access to power.

Busking Locations Include:

• Centre stage (Eltham Town Square)
• 4 other locations around Eltham (To Be Decided)

Buskers will be selected through an expression of interest (EOI) process to perform at the various locations. EOI Form below.
You will not need a busking permit if successful. You are welcome to accept public donations, but we will not be paying performance fees.

Dates

You can apply at any point in time, but the earlier you apply, the more likely you are to be successful.
Performances will be on Saturdays and some weekdays. We are open to expressions of interest. EOI Form below.

Criteria

Busker dates and locations will be selected based on the following:

• performance merit, and examples provided
• appropriateness for each location
• presentation and quality from images and links to videos provided
• how much amplification is required for their performance

If you are selected

You will be contacted by the Eltham Town Marketing Team about performance dates and times.
We welcome EOIs from anyone, but a Parental Consent Form must be completed if under the age of 16.

Selected buskers:

• can perform solo, duo or as a trio
• must provide all equipment necessary for the performance
• will be asked to nominate preferred dates and availability to perform
• agree that any images taken of their performance may be used in our promotions and reporting.
