Special guest speaker Supriya Singh. Supriya was born in India and moved to Malaysia at 23 when she got married. In 1986 she migrated to Australia. She has since worked on several academic works as well as publications such as The House over Diamond Creek and surrounding the sociological imagination which links personal troubles with public issues around money, gender, family, marriage, migration and family violence. She featured on the Saari (South Asian Australians Representing Ideas) International Women’s Day 2021 profiles. She now lives in her homes in Melbourne and Dharamshala, working on her upcoming book releases.
A percentage of all proceeds raised from this event will be donated to the Breast Cancer Network Australia.
