Public Workshop
Council’s Economic Development Strategy (EDS)
Council is currently in the early stages of developing a new Economic Development Strategy (EDS) for the Shire of Nillumbik. The EDS will be the key Council strategic document for shaping the economic direction of the Shire from a local perspective during the term of the current Council.
Having regard to Goal 3 of the current Council Plan 2009-13, Our Economy, Council has developed a draft Strategic Directions Paper on this matter that will be used as the basis for conducting a public workshop to be held at the
Civic Centre, Civic Drive, Greensborough
Wednesday 24 February 2010 at 6.30pm – 8.00pm
Input from the workshop will be used to assist Council to develop a draft Economic Development Strategy (EDS) that will be made available for public consultation prior to Council formally adopting an EDS and Action Plan later in 2010.
